Bacteriological and Parasitological Study of Stone

Abstract
The role of bacterial infection on the gall stone formation has been emphasized by many investigators. Moreover, in certain areas where particular parasites are heavily infested among population, the role of parasite also can be speculated. For the purpose to study the bacterial infection and parasites distribution in gall stone cases, author examined 34 clinical cases as following;
1) From bile samples strains, and from 25 stones 17 strains of microorganism belong to intestinal normal flora were isolated respectively.
2) The sensitivity test of isolated oragnism to common Antibiotics were exhibited an usually accepted pattern.
3) Among the 34 stones, 7 samples contained Liver Fluke eggs.
